Licensed Mental Health Therapist

Specialized Counseling is seeking licensed mental health therapists in Colorado to join our practice as 1099 independent contractors providing fully remote telehealth services. We are looking to add approximately three providers as our client volume continues to grow.

This opportunity is well suited for independently licensed clinicians who want to build a flexible remote caseload while receiving client referrals and administrative support through an established practice.

Position Details

• 1099 independent contractor position
• Fully remote/telehealth
• $60 per clinical hour/session
• Flexible scheduling based on your availability
• Build a caseload that fits your preferred workload
• Approximately 10–30 client hours per week may be available depending on clinician availability and client demand
• Ongoing client referrals provided
• Administrative support provided

Responsibilities

• Provide individual psychotherapy through secure video appointments
• Complete appropriate clinical assessments and treatment planning
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Provide ethical, evidence-based treatment within your areas of competence
• Maintain professional communication with clients and the practice
• Follow applicable Colorado licensing, telehealth, confidentiality, and professional standards

Qualifications

• Must hold an active, unrestricted Colorado license permitting independent clinical practice
• Eligible licenses may include LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist, or another Colorado license permitting independent psychotherapy practice
• Master’s or doctoral degree in an appropriate behavioral health field
• Ability to practice independently without clinical supervision
• Reliable internet connection and an appropriate private workspace for telehealth
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Preferred

• Telehealth experience
• Availability for an ongoing weekly caseload
• Interest in maintaining a consistent caseload
• Comfortable practicing independently in a remote setting

Compensation

$60 per completed clinical hour/session.

This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes and do not receive employee benefits.

Clinicians can expect opportunities for increased compensation over time as they establish longevity and consistency with the practice.

Schedule

Contractors determine their availability based on their preferred schedule and client demand.

Pay: $60.00 per hour
