Licensed Mental Health Therapist (Parttime/Fulltime Contractual)

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic support to individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges.

This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the use of evidence-based practices to foster positive outcomes. The therapist will work with diverse populations, including children and families, and may incorporate specialized techniques into their practice.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy sessions utilizing various modalities to individuals, couples, and families.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Offer direct support to clients in a virtual setting.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve therapeutic goals.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health therapy.

Skills

• Proficiency in managing electronic records and documentation processes.
• Strong background in patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards clients' needs.
• Knowledge of ICD-9 coding for mental health diagnoses.
• Familiarity with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques and their application in various settings.
• Ability to provide direct support in both individual and family therapy contexts.
• Understanding of diversity and ensuring sensitivity to diverse client backgrounds.
• Previous mental health experience working in inpatient/outpatient environments is advantageous but not required.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members.

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
