Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMHC/LCSW) — Bilingual Haitian Creole Workshop Facilitator (Contract)

Lakou Lokal Inc. is a Caribbean diaspora community wellness nonprofit. Through our CSCPBC-funded program Building a Better Lakou, we deliver bilingual family wellness and mental health workshops to Haitian and immigrant families across Palm Beach County. We're seeking a licensed mental health professional to lead our Mental Health & Healing workshop track.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate bilingual (Haitian Creole / English) mental health workshops for families and children, in person at community sites and virtually via Zoom
• Deliver culturally grounded content on generational trauma, emotional wellbeing, stress and burnout, stigma reduction, and community healing
• Adapt provided curriculum with cultural and linguistic authenticity
• Attend a paid onboarding training and monthly facilitator check-ins

Required credentials & qualifications

• Active Florida license: LMHC or LCSW
• Fluency in Haitian Creole and English
• Experience delivering mental health content to Caribbean or immigrant communities
• Comfort facilitating both in-person and virtual sessions
• Based in or able to work in Palm Beach County

Terms: Jan–Jul 2027, plus fall onboarding

Rate: $85/hour. Per-session paid contract — not part- or full-time.
