Life Mindful Therapy is seeking a compassionate and motivated Mental Health Therapist to join our outpatient practice in Downers Grove, IL.

We are looking for a therapist who enjoys building meaningful therapeutic relationships and helping clients better understand themselves, their relationships, emotions, and patterns of behavior. Our practice emphasizes a collaborative, client-centered approach rather than a one-size-fits-all model.

Position Overview

The therapist will provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy to children, adolescents and adults experiencing a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, life transitions, self-esteem, emotional regulation, and other mental health challenges.

What We’re Looking For

• Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
• Active Illinois clinical license or appropriate clinical credential (LPC, LCPC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, or similar)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Genuine interest in developing strong therapeutic relationships with clients
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a supportive practice
• Commitment to ethical, culturally responsive, and client-centered care
• Experience with or interest in couples/relationship therapy is a plus

LifeMindful Therapy is a growing private practice in Downers Grove seeking diverse therapists (LCSW, LCPC, LPC, LSW, LMFT, PsyD) working with children, teens, and adults, couples, and families. Our therapists provide outpatient therapy to a diverse caseload of individuals, and families. A clinician with knowledge and experience working with families is highly preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be licensed with a Master’s degree or Doctorate in the field of Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Psychology from an accredited program.
• Specific experience and interest in working with children, teens, and families is preferred
• Experience working in a clinical setting, providing direct services

Responsibilities:

• Provide therapy and counseling services to a variety of patient needs.
• Stay up-to-date with current research and developments in the field of therapy and implement evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients
• Stay informed about psychopharmacology and work collaboratively with psychiatrists when necessary.
