Position Summary

OneStop Medical Center is hiring a Licensed Behavioral Therapist to join our Integrated Behavioral Health Team. This role provides evidence-based psychotherapy and behavioral interventions to patients receiving primary care, working closely with physicians and nurse practitioners to address stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and health-related behavior challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual, couples, and/or group psychotherapy using evidence-based approaches

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments, diagnose mental health conditions, and develop treatment plans

• Deliver brief, goal-oriented therapy sessions (30–45 minutes) integrated with medical care

• Manage crisis situations using crisis intervention techniques to ensure patient safety

• Collaborate with primary care providers and nurse practitioners to coordinate patient care

• Support patients with:

• Stress, burnout, and anxiety

• Depression and mood disorders

• Trauma and adjustment issues

• Chronic illness coping

• Provide referrals to specialty or higher-level care when needed

• Maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)

• Participate in team meetings and care coordination

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field

• Active California license as one of the following:

• LCSW – Licensed Clinical Social Worker

• LMFT – Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist

• LPCC – Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor

• Minimum 2 years of post-licensure experience preferred

• Experience in integrated care, medical settings, or private practice preferred

• Strong training in CBT, Motivational Interviewing, trauma-informed care, or solution-focused therapy

• Experience treating stress, anxiety, depression, and chronic medical condition-related distress

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative healthcare environment

• Proficiency with EHR systems and clinical documentation

• Bilingual (English/Spanish/Hindi or other languages) a plus
