Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC)

La Jolla Wellness is a boutique private practice with locations in La Jolla and Mission Valley. We are committed to providing compassionate, client-centered care for individuals and couples. The practice is growing and looking for a licensed therapist who is enthusiastic, motivated, and excited to be part of a supportive and collaborative team.

What You'll Do

• Carry a full clinical caseload (25 client-facing hours/week) using evidence-based techniques
• Create and implement treatment plans tailored to each client's needs
• Maintain clear and timely documentation in line with HIPAA standards
• Collaborate with other providers when needed to ensure clients receive well-rounded care
• Stay current with best practices through ongoing professional development
• Join in consultation and contribute to the supportive clinical community at La Jolla Wellness

What We're Looking For

• Master's or doctoral degree in a relevant field
• Active California license (LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC)
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapy approaches
• Strong documentation skills and understanding of HIPAA regulations
• Warm, approachable interpersonal style with the ability to connect across diverse backgrounds
• Ability to build rapport and provide effective care across a diverse range of clients, presenting concerns, and treatment needs

The Details

• Job Type: Full-time, W2 — 25 client-facing clinical hours/week
• Pay: 60% of session fee to you, with monthly bonus incentives once you hit your agreed-upon session average — we'll walk through exact numbers in the interview
• Benefits: Paid sick time, retirement plan, paid admin time, annual CEU stipend
• Schedule: Set your own hours, one evening a week required
• Location: Hybrid (remote + in-person) — choice of our La Jolla or Mission Valley offices
• License/Certification: Active California license — LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC (required)
• Ability to Commute: La Jolla or Mission Valley, CA (required)
• Hiring Timeline: We're interviewing in October with a January 2027 start — the lead time lets us get you paneled with insurance before you start seeing clients
