Licensed Mental Health Therapist- FEE FOR SERVICE Primarily Remote

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LCSW;LMSW;LMHC;LMFT- Not able to take on Limited permit holders) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing primarily virtual support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges across NYS, and with a focus on Rural and high need communities. You will work closely with patients to build a strong therapeutic rapport, treatment plan development, and provide and ensure an emotionally safe and therapeutic environment. Our team of providers are proud to work towards providing a uniqueness in carrying out an authentic support for both the client and therapist. We offer Supervision for LMSW staff seeking hours, and ongoing Supervision for all other providers for ongoing support, team orientation, and positive health.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans under the supervision of licensed mental health professionals (LCSW's). Gaining hours towards Clinical License.
• Providing support to many populations in need across NYS.
• Cross Connects Supports Clinican's working towards a specialized population if desired, and assists in the growth of that caseload as able.
• Provide In-Person sessions as per CMS (Medicaid) guidelines as we contract with Medicaid managed insurance which currently encourage 1-2 in person sessions per year- can discuss further.
• Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patient behavior and reporting any changes to the multidisciplinary clinical team.
• Facilitate Individual and/ or group therapy sessions, promoting engagement and participation among patients.
• Conduct diagnostic evaluations and document patient progress accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• document session progress through use of practice EMR system.
• Utilize best practice and clinically justified approaches to encourage patient participation in their treatment.
• Support patients through various therapeutic approaches and modalities.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, adhering to all safety protocols (including providing a visible private, professional and clinically safe virtual location).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in 1x monthly team meetings to promote strong foundations of Private Practice team support.
• Select and secure your own clinical schedule throughout each week meeting a minimum of 12-15 clinical fee for service hours per week.
• Screen and build own caseload to provide clinican's with full autonomy over the treatment and ensure best clinical fit for clients.

Requirements

Seeking Provider in the Upstate NY area.

• 2 years clinical experience- with references.
• Knowledge of diagnostic evaluation methods and familiarity with DSM V coding.
• Understanding of outpatient mental health services and related best practices.
• Strong Clinical Confidence and Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards at all times.
• Compassionate demeanor with a genuine interest in helping others navigate their mental health challenges and uplifting team members across the state to do the same.
• Ability to think creatively in providing clients with a unique experience best suited for their unique needs.
• Supervision provided for all clinical providers.
• Gained support and empowerment tools to build and lead your own treatment for your own clients- under the appropriate supervision and guidance from an experienced LCSW.

• Are you able to commit to 12- 15 clinical fee for service hours per week?

• Do you have experience working with Children, teens, or young Adults through Telehealth?
