Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic mental health care team. The Mental Health Therapist plays a vital role in empowering individuals to improve their mental health and overall well-being. Through comprehensive assessments and clinical evaluations, the therapist identifies each client's unique needs and develops individualized treatment plans. Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other clinically appropriate interventions, the therapist provides compassionate, client-centered care that promotes healing, resilience, and lasting positive change. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and intake evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to determine client needs and treatment plans.
• Provide individual and group therapy services in accordance with COMAR regulations, maintaining accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in ICANotes.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies to ensure client safety during acute episodes, including crisis management and behavior management techniques.
• Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards and HIPAA regulations, ensuring accurate medical documentation and records management within EMR/EHR systems.
• Engage in case management activities to coordinate care with other healthcare providers, social workers, educators, and support teams for clients with co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities.
• Maintain compliance with clinical ethical guidelines while delivering evidence-based practice in outpatient or inpatient settings; participate in clinical research or data collection efforts when applicable.

Requirements

• Valid licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (e.g., LCPC, LGSW, LGPC, LCSW) with state-specific credentials required for independent practice.
• Exhibits compassion, empathy, and respect for individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.
• Strong knowledge of psychotherapeutic modalities including psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and psychopharmacology when applicable.
• Experience working in telehealth therapy environments utilizing HIPAA-compliant platforms is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage clients effectively across diverse backgrounds while adhering to clinical documentation standards.
• Ability to manage crisis situations efficiently while demonstrating cultural sensitivity and ethical integrity; experience working with individuals experiencing trauma or addiction is advantageous.

$5,000 sign-on bonus will be paid in quarterly installments of $1,250 every three months, contingent upon continued, in good standing employment.

Pay: $80,000.00 per year
