Licensed Mental Health Therapist

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our behavioral health team. In this role, you will provide evidence-based mental health services to diverse client populations, including children, youth, and adults. The therapist will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapy using trauma-focused, addiction counseling, and other specialized approaches. Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic assessments and provide individual psychotherapy.
• Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans.
• Complete clinical documentation accurately and within required timeframes.
• Coordinate care with psychiatric, primary-care, and other healthcare professionals when clinically appropriate and authorized by the patient.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.
• Respond appropriately to urgent safety concerns and complete necessary risk assessments and safety planning.
• Maintain all continuing-education, licensing, and credentialing requirements.
• Comply with applicable professional standards, payer requirements, and Elira Health’s privacy, safety, documentation, and facility requirements.
• Independently manage the agreed-upon caseload and communicate scheduling availability.
• Participate in credentialing with insurance plans accepted by the practice when applicable.

Compensation

• Competitive percentage-based compensation.
• Compensation is based on revenue collected for services personally provided by the therapist.
• Specific compensation terms will be discussed during the interview and documented in the independent-contractor agreement.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Indiana license permitting independent clinical practice, such as:
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Health Service Provider in Psychology (HSPP)
• Other independently licensed behavioral-health professional permitted under Indiana law
• Master’s or doctoral degree from an appropriately accredited program.
• Current professional liability insurance or willingness to obtain coverage before providing services.
• Eligible for enrollment and credentialing with commercial insurance, Medicare, and/or Indiana Medicaid plans, as applicable.
• Strong communication, organization, and clinical-documentation skills.
• Outpatient mental-health experience is preferred.
