About the Role

CLS Counseling & Consulting is growing, and we're looking for a fully licensed therapist to join our contractor team in Missouri. You set your own caseload size. No minimum session requirement, no maximum. This is a genuine 1099 role: you control your schedule, your specialties, and how many clients you see.

We're a small practice by design. You'll work alongside a clinical director who's still seeing clients herself, not a corporate structure that treats therapists as interchangeable.

Our Approach

We work from evidence-based, outcomes-focused frameworks, CBT, DBT, ACT, SFBT, Gottman Method, and trauma-informed approaches among them. Modality and clinical approach stay fully in your hands. Collaboration is welcomed, not required.

CLS operates from a social justice and equity framework. What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and intake evaluations
• Provide individual, group, couples or family counseling using evidence-based modalities
• Implement crisis intervention strategies and manage urgent situations with professionalism and care
• Develop treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards and HIPAA regulations
• Use our EHR system for accurate documentation and case management
• Facilitate telehealth sessions while maintaining client privacy and confidentiality

What You Need

• Full, independent Missouri clinical license: LCSW or LPC. Provisional licenses (LMSW, PLPC) are not eligible for this posting.
• Comfortable with telehealth as your primary or sole modality
• Working knowledge of clinical documentation standards, treatment planning, and CPT coding
• Own laptop and private, HIPAA-compliant space to see clients

How Pay Works

We don't hide the numbers. Pay is a percentage of the average per-session reimbursement rate (average $110.42), tiered by how many sessions you see in a two-week period:

4-29 sessions per 2 weeks: 60% payout

30-49 sessions per 2 weeks: 70% payout

50+ sessions per 2 weeks: 80% payout

More sessions means a higher percentage, not just a higher total. There's no cap and no set caseload you're required to hit.

Pay: $66.34 - $120.00 per hour
