Mental Health Therapist

CCOCC’s professional staff is made up of a culturally and ethnically diverse group of master’s and doctoral-level therapists who are committed to offering high-quality counseling services. While we each operate from a solid Christian perspective, we are also respectful and sensitive to clients’ varying beliefs and worldviews. All therapists have experience and expertise in working with a wide variety of clinical settings, client concerns, and spiritual, cultural, ethnic, and diversity issues.

Major Responsibilities

• Part-time status: maintain a minimum of 10 direct service hours each week with two evenings shifts per week.

• Full-time status: maintain a minimum of 23 direct service hours each week with two evenings shifts per week.

• Attend bi-weekly trainings.

• Maintain client records, notes written accurately and within compliance standards.

• Respond to communications with clients and staff in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree Counseling, Clinical Psychologist, or master's degree in social work,

specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy preferred.

• Prior clinical experience preferred; new graduates considered.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, time management, and teamwork are needed.

• Demonstrate commitment to Christianity and the mission of Cornerstone Counseling of Chicago.
