Licensed Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking an experienced, fully licensed Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. The ideal clinician is confident practicing independently while also valuing consultation, collaboration, and a strong team culture. This role is well suited for a therapist who brings sound clinical judgment, reliable follow-through, and a commitment to individualized, ethical, and culturally responsive care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial and mental health assessments, including diagnostic evaluation, clinical formulation, and identification of appropriate treatment needs.

• Provide individualized, evidence-informed psychotherapy to clients with a variety of presenting concerns, diagnoses, backgrounds, and levels of clinical complexity.

• Develop, implement, regularly review, and update individualized treatment plans that reflect client goals, clinical needs, progress, and medical necessity.

• Use sound clinical judgment to select appropriate therapeutic interventions and modify treatment approaches based on client response and changing needs.

• Maintain timely, accurate, and clinically meaningful documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, safety plans, and other required clinical records.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultation, clinical collaboration, quality-improvement activities, and ongoing professional development while contributing to a supportive practice culture built on professionalism, communication, accountability, and mutual respect.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or another qualifying behavioral health discipline.

• Current, unrestricted Oregon licensure in good standing as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Experience providing outpatient psychotherapy to clients with a range of mental health concerns and clinical presentations.

• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, treatment-planning, and case-conceptualization skills.

• Ability to independently evaluate clinical risk and respond appropriately to urgent or higher-acuity client needs.

• Knowledge of ethical, legal, and professional standards governing behavioral health practice in Oregon.

• Strong written communication skills and the ability to produce clear, accurate, timely, and clinically appropriate documentation.

• Strong organization and time-management skills, with the ability to effectively manage a clinical caseload and associated responsibilities.

• Ability to work independently while also participating collaboratively as part of a clinical team.

• Commitment to ethical, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and client-centered care.

• Professional demeanor, dependable follow-through, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Comfort using electronic health records, telehealth technology, and other systems required for clinical practice.
