Join Our Practice

Child & Family Psychiatric Center is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist interested in operating an independent private practice within our established outpatient mental health setting.

CFPC offers a collaborative private-practice environment where independently practicing clinicians work alongside other mental health professionals who are similarly managing their own practices, including psychiatric prescribers practicing within the same office. This setting allows therapists to maintain the independence of private practice while benefiting from shared infrastructure, administrative support, and opportunities for convenient coordination of patient care with psychiatric providers when appropriate.

About The Opportunity

Independent contractors at CFPC maintain independence in their clinical practice while having access to the systems and support needed to build and maintain their private-practice caseload.

Clinicians have flexibility in developing their schedule, determining their desired caseload, and establishing their areas of clinical focus consistent with their independent contractor agreement, professional scope of practice, and payer requirements.

Both clinicians looking to establish a new private-practice caseload and experienced therapists interested in practicing within a collaborative outpatient setting are encouraged to apply.

Compensation

Compensation is based on actual collections for professional services personally provided by the clinician and varies by payer and service. Based on current reimbursement rates, clinicians may generally expect approximately $112-$135 per completed clinical hour. Actual earnings will vary based on services provided and collections and are not guaranteed.

Practice Support

CFPC provides independent contractors with access to established practice infrastructure and administrative services designed to reduce the day-to-day administrative burden of private practice. Support includes:

• Professional outpatient office space in Medford

• Front-office and administrative support

• Patient scheduling and communication

• Insurance billing and claims support

• Accounts receivable and patient-balance support

• Credentialing and insurance administrative support

• Electronic health record and office systems

• Referral coordination

• Practice marketing and community outreach

• Established referral relationships

• Administrative support for medical records and practice operations

• Opportunity for coordination of care with psychiatric prescribers practicing within the same office

• A collaborative professional environment alongside other independently practicing mental health clinicians

Our goal is to reduce the administrative burden of private practice so clinicians can devote more of their time and energy to patient care while maintaining the professional independence of their own practice.

Who We Are Looking For

CFPC serves patients across the lifespan, and we welcome therapists with a variety of clinical backgrounds and specialties.

We are particularly interested in clinicians with experience or an interest in providing therapy to children and adolescents as this is an area of significant need within our practice and community.

Qualifications

Applicants should:

• Hold an active Oregon license that permits independent clinical practice, such as LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or another applicable independently licensed behavioral health credential

• Be in good standing with their applicable licensing board

• Maintain required professional liability insurance

• Maintain all required continuing education and professional credentials

• Provide ethical patient-centered, evidence-informed mental health care

• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation

• Comply with applicable federal, state, payer, licensing, and professional requirements

• Be comfortable operating an independent private practice while working within a collaborative professional environment

• Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and effective communication

Experience working with children and adolescents is preferred but not required.

Schedule

This opportunity is structured as an independent contractor arrangement rather than traditional employment.

Clinicians have flexibility in establishing their availability and desired caseload consistent with the terms of their independent contractor agreement.

Part-time and full-time caseloads may be considered.
