Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking a Mental Health Therapist to join our team! You will provide therapeutic-oriented rehabilitation services in group or individual settings.

Responsibilities

• Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional issues
• Offer assistance to individuals with substance abuse issues
• Provide prevention-oriented therapy
• Implement and review treatment plans
• Collaborate with additional treatment providers and placement agencies
• Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Previous experience in mental health counseling or other related fields
• Familiarity with community mental health resources
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Strong leadership qualities

Rate of pay

• Rates are negotiable based on experience and licensure
• W-2 and 1099 Fee for services positions available

Full-time & Part-Time positions available

Education

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Addictions. One year of field practicum in a mental health setting or equivalent experience in counseling persons with mental illness or must have one of the following Maryland credentials: LCSW-C, LMSW, LGCP, LCPC

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,000.00 - $77,000.00 per year
