Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist, Marriage Counselor, or licensed clinician (LCSW, LCMHC, or LMFT) to join our dynamic mental health team. In this vital role, you will provide evidence-based psychotherapy and clinical support to individuals, families, and groups across diverse settings. Your expertise will help clients navigate mental health challenges, trauma, developmental disabilities, co-occurring disorders, and more. This position offers opportunities for telehealth therapy, inpatient and outpatient care, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient-centered services. Duties

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to determine client needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group, family, and youth therapy sessions using evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and behavioral therapy.
• Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to foster client engagement and promote positive behavioral change.
• Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure client safety.
• Document clinical notes accurately in Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, medical professionals, educators, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
• Engage in research activities related to mental health assessments, treatment outcomes, or clinical research initiatives to enhance practice quality.
• Facilitate intake assessments for new clients by gathering detailed histories and conducting diagnostic evaluations aligned with ICD coding guidelines.
• Deliver specialized services such as grief counseling, addiction counseling, PTSD care, behavior management for children with autism or developmental disabilities, and chronic pain counseling.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with clinical ethical guidelines, medical terminology updates, ICD coding changes, and best practices in behavioral health.

Experience

• Proven experience providing psychotherapy in outpatient or inpatient settings with diverse populations including children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, or individuals with disabilities.
• Demonstrated expertise working with individuals with co-occurring disorders such as mental health conditions combined with substance use issues.
• Experience delivering telehealth therapy services utilizing HIPAA-compliant platforms across various clinical environments.
• Background in working within special education or pediatric settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with clinical documentation standards including medical records management and treatment planning is essential.
• Prior involvement in crisis management situations involving acute psychiatric episodes or trauma responses is preferred.
• Knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems for accurate diagnosis documentation within medical records is required.

Pay: $29.86 - $35.96 per hour
