Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Sanctuary Counseling & Wellness is growing — and opening a second office! We provide compassionate, professional counseling in a peaceful, beautiful setting just outside Montgomery, and we’re now opening a second location near the EastChase shopping center in Montgomery.

We’re looking for a compassionate, Alabama-licensed mental health professional (ALC, LPC, or LMFT) to join our team as our third counselor, working primarily out of the new Montgomery office. If you value collaborative, relationship-centered care and want to focus on your clients while we handle the administrative side, we’d love to hear from you. We’re especially interested in a counselor who enjoys working with children, in addition to teens and adults.

What we’re looking for

● An Alabama-licensed mental health professional (ALC, LPC, or LMFT)

● A counselor experienced with or passionate about working with children, as well as teens and adults

● A therapist who enjoys working primarily in-office as part of a collaborative team

● A commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care

● Willingness to learn and use our EHR software for notes, scheduling, and client management

● A therapist building toward a full caseload of ~24 client sessions per week (full-time preferred; we’re happy to discuss the right fit)

What we offer

●W-2 employment with compensation based on a percentage split of session revenue. Estimated annual earnings range from $40,000 to $96,000, depending on caseload and licensure level (ALC vs. LPC/LMFT), with earnings growing as your caseload builds.

● Clinical supervision available for Associate Licensed Counselors (ALCs), provided by our LPC-Supervisor
