As our practice continues to grow, we are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and clinically strong Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or license-eligible clinician who is passionate about delivering evidence-based care while building a long-term career within a collaborative, clinician-centered practice.

Requirements & Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited educational institution.
• Active, unrestricted Massachusetts LMHC license or eligibility for Massachusetts licensure.
• Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, clinical documentation, and professional writing skills.
• Strong ethical decision-making skills and commitment to maintaining professional standards of practice.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates should possess training, clinical experience, or a strong professional interest in providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults.

Because of the needs of our referral base, a strong preference will be given to clinicians who have experience working with children and adolescents or who are enthusiastic about developing a child and adolescent caseload.

Experience working with a broad range of mental health concerns is strongly preferred, including but not limited to:

• Anxiety Disorders
• Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
• Depression
• ADHD
• Executive functioning deficits
• Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Developmental Disorders
• Trauma and Complex Trauma
• Grief and Traumatic Loss
• Attachment-related concerns
• Relationship and interpersonal challenges
• Chronic illness adjustment
• Emotional and behavioral regulation

Experience utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities is strongly preferred, including:

• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
• Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
• Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
• Play Therapy
• Family Therapy
• Behavioral Management and Modification
• Executive Functioning Coaching
• Self-Regulation Skills Training

Responsibilities

• Maintain an average of 25 completed clinical sessions per week.
• Provide office-based and telehealth individual and/or family psychotherapy within the clinician's areas of competence and professional interest.
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each client's unique clinical needs.
• Complete assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, discharge summaries, and all required clinical documentation in accordance with practice policies, insurance requirements, licensing regulations, and professional standards.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate documentation.
• Participate in individual clinical supervision, consultation, and professional development activities as appropriate to licensure status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary providers and referral sources when clinically indicated.
• Maintain active Massachusetts licensure in good standing or continue progressing toward independent licensure.
• Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to all applicable ethical standards, laws, regulations, and practice policies governing clinical care.

Compensation & Time Off

• Annual compensation $58,000-$80,000+ based on licensure status, experience and qualification with opportunities
• Attainable productivity bonus beginning at 22 completed sessions per week

• Annual Continuing Education stipend ($300)
• Support throughout the Massachusetts licensure process, including weekly supervision, mentorship, and licensure examination preparation
