About the role
We are seeking a full or part time contracted counselor to join our rapidly growing private counseling practice where we provide individual, couples, family, child, and adolescent counseling services. Evening and/or weekend availability is specifically needed.
As a counselor at Creating Connections Counseling Services LLC, you will have the flexibility to create your own schedule and determine the maximum number of clients you would like to have on your case load. Additionally, you have the freedom to choose if you would like to work remotely or provide in-person sessions at our office located in Delaware, OH.
Contracted Counselor Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform initial evaluations of client needs and develop customized treatment plans.
- Provide individuals with the resources they need to reach personal goals.
- Monitor client progress and modify their treatment plans as needed.
- Complete thorough and timely documentation of all client sessions.
- Complete continuing education courses to maintain National Certified Counselor certification and stay up-to-date on the latest practices.
Education, Skills, and Qualifications
- Licensed Independent Social Worker or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor required
- Previous counseling experience required
- Excellent communication and documentation skills required
- Experience providing cognitive behavioral therapy preferred
- Social Work experience is a plus
Contracted Counselor Expected Salary
- For full-time employment (minimum 25 clients/week), the contracted rate of pay is 75% of billed revenue ranging from $42.00 - $113.00 per 60 minute counseling session.
- For part-time employment (minimum 10 clients/week), the contracted rate of pay is 60% of billed revenue ranging from $33.00 - $90.00 per 60 minute counseling session.
Subject to variance based on the individual client's self-pay or insurance carrier rate of reimbursement. The average reimbursement rate is $90.00/session.
