Hygeia Health is expanding!

We are seeking exceptional, fully licensed clinicians with experience in both mental health and substance use treatment to join our interdisciplinary behavioral-health team providing at our Georgia location.

This role is ideal for clinicians who are passionate about integrated, recovery-oriented care and who thrive in a structured, team-based environment serving diverse and often underserved populations.

Hygeia Health specializes in co-occurring mental health and substance use disorder treatment, with a strong emphasis on culturally responsive care, evidence-based practices, and community impact.

Position Overview

• Position Type: Full-time, Part-time or Contract (1099)
• Location: Onsite – Georgia
• Schedule:TBD
• Population Served: Adults with mental health and substance use disorders
• Programs May Include:
• Outpatient Mental Health
• Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
• Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
• Co-occurring disorders treatment

Requirements

• Must be fully licensed in the State of Georgia as one of the following:
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Ph.D./Psy.D. (Psychology)
• Minimum 1 year post-independent licensure experience
• Demonstrated experience treating mental health and substance use disorders, including co-occurring conditions
• Ability and willingness to maintain onsite clinical hours
• Strong clinical documentation and time-management skills
• Collaborative, dependable, organized, and ethically grounded
• Comfortable working within an interdisciplinary treatment team
• Willingness to utilize electronic health records and technology-supported clinical systems

Clinical Skills & Approaches

Clinicians should be experienced in, or open to, utilizing evidence-based modalities commonly used in mental health and substance use treatment, including but not limited to:

• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Motivational Interviewing (MI)
• Trauma-informed care
• Relapse prevention strategies
• Psychodynamic, humanistic, interpersonal, and client-centered approaches
• Family systems and solution-focused therapy

Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to clinicians with experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Substance use disorders and addiction treatment
• Co-occurring mental health diagnoses
• MAT-adjunct therapy
• Trauma, PTSD, and adverse childhood experiences (ACEs)
• Multicultural and culturally responsive care
• Criminal justice-involved populations
• Community-based or program-driven treatment settings
