Job Overview

As a licensed professional, a therapist is also responsible for maintaining strict confidentiality, navigating legal and ethical frameworks, and setting professional boundaries while fostering a safe, non-judgmental therapeutic alliance

• Treatment Planning: Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that include concrete, measurable goals and objectives tailored to the client's specific needs.236
• Therapeutic Interventions: Providing individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychoanalytic therapy, and humanistic approaches to facilitate behavioral and emotional change.
• Crisis Intervention: Providing support and guidance during emergencies (e.g., suicidal or homicidal ideation, abuse, or neglect) and implementing safety protocols when necessary.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintaining detailed, confidential clinical records (including progress notes and treatment plans) in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards (e.g., HIPAA).
• Monitoring Progress: Continuously tracking client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as needed, and ensuring care remains effective and medically necessary.
• Collaboration & Education: Collaborating with other healthcare professionals (e.g., psychiatrists, social workers) to coordinate comprehensive care, and educating clients and their families about mental health symptoms, coping strategies, and available resources.
• Professional Development: Staying updated on the latest therapeutic techniques, research, and advancements in the field through continuing education.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
