Compassionate Heart Mental Health Counseling, PLLC – Staten Island, NY
We are seeking a NY-licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our established private practice as a 1099 independent contractor.
We are looking for a responsible, professional, and clinically skilled counselor who is committed to providing high-quality care and maintaining strong clinical and ethical standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual mental health counseling to children, adolescents and/or adults
- Maintain a consistent professional caseload and availability
- Complete timely clinical documentation and treatment planning
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, communication, and client care

Qualifications
- NYS Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
- Current NYS registration and good standing
- Professional liability/malpractice insurance
- Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
- Reliable and committed to maintaining a professional caseload
- Someone who values compassion, authenticity, and personal/professional growth
Compensation: Mutually agreed upon based on experience, qualifications, and clinical services provided.
