Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Compass Counseling of Northwest Indiana is looking for a provisionally or fully licensed clinician to join our small, but growing group practice in both our Valparaiso and Crown Point locations. This position is ideal for an LMHC-A/LMHC/LCSW/LMFT who is looking to supplement their income or slowly transition into private practice. The therapist will provide counseling services to adults, couples, and adolescents, so a range of clinical experience is preferred. The therapist will also be responsible for diagnosing based on DSM-V-TR criteria, and completing clinical documentation, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Ensuring completion of all intake paperwork
• Developing and updating treatment plans
• Completing session notes within 24 hours
• Scheduling of appointments for established clients

Requirements

• Must be a licensed clinician in the State of Indiana (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT)
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience, preferably in the provision of individual psychotherapy
• Day and evening availability
• Strong LMHC-A applicants will be considered
