Licensed Mental Health Counselor 1099

Foothills Counseling & Wellness LLC is growing, and we are looking for 1–2 licensed mental health counselors to join our established private practice in Boise, Idaho.

We have a consistent stream of client referrals and are looking for mental health therapists who want the flexibility and autonomy of private practice without having to manage all of the administrative responsibilities that come with it.

What We Offer

Strong Compensation

• 60% of the total revenue you generate is paid directly to you.
• This averages approximately $80–$90 per 60-minute session, depending on the insurance payer and reimbursement rate.
• Therapists are paid for missed appointments and no-shows.

Administrative Support

You focus on your clients—we take care of the business side of private practice.

A Supportive Practice Environment

While you will have the independence of a private-practice therapist, you won't be practicing in isolation. Foothills Counseling & Wellness provides an opportunity to build professional relationships with other therapists in the practice for consultation, collaboration, and support.

Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will:

• Provide psychotherapy based on your areas of interest.
• Complete clinical assessments and treatment plans.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and progress notes.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and applicable state and professional regulations.
• Provide ethical, professional, and client-centered care.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates who have:

• 3+ years of post-master's clinical experience in mental health counseling.
• EMDR training or experience (preferred, but not required).
• Experience working with a variety of client populations and presenting concerns.
• Strong clinical documentation and communication skills.
• A collaborative, professional approach to working with clients
