Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) – Part-Time
About the role
Dynamic Counseling LCSW PC is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our outpatient mental health practice in Commack, New York.
This is a part-time, W-2 position providing in-person psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and/or families in a professional office setting. We are looking for a clinician who is committed to providing high-quality, client-centered care and is comfortable working independently while being part of a supportive clinical practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-person psychotherapy to assigned clients
- Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy based on clinician experience and client needs
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Complete progress notes and treatment plan updates in accordance with practice and insurance requirements
- Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and confidentiality
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals when clinically appropriate
- Maintain an ongoing caseload and provide consistent, reliable appointment availability
- Adhere to ethical, legal, and professional standards for clinical practice
Qualifications
- Current New York State LMFT license required
- Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related qualifying field
- Strong clinical, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage clinical documentation in a timely manner
- Professional, dependable, and committed to providing quality mental health care
- Comfortable providing services in person at our Commack office
Work Location
Commack, NY
This position is 100% in-office/in-person and is not a remote or telehealth position.
Schedule
Part-time schedule. Specific days and hours can be discussed based on practice needs and clinician availability.
Compensation
- $63.00 per hour
- Part-time W-2 employment
