Residential Detox & Outpatient Programs | Orange County, CA
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our growing behavioral health team and assist across our residential detox, residential treatment, and outpatient programs.
This is an excellent opportunity for an LMFT who enjoys working with individuals and families affected by substance use disorders, mental health concerns, and co-occurring conditions and wants to be part of a growing treatment organization.
Position Responsibilities
The LMFT may assist with:
- Individual therapy sessions
- Group therapy and psychoeducational groups
- Family and couples sessions when clinically appropriate
- Initial assessments and treatment planning
- Treatment plan updates and clinical documentation
- Crisis intervention and clinical support
- Discharge and aftercare planning
- Coordination with case management, medical, and clinical teams
- Supporting clients transitioning between detox, residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient levels of care
- Maintaining timely and accurate documentation in accordance with facility, payer, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
Required
- Active California LMFT license in good standing
- Strong clinical documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary treatment team
- Professional, dependable, and client-centered approach
Preferred
- Previous experience in substance use disorder treatment
- Detox, residential, PHP, IOP, or outpatient behavioral health experience
- Experience working with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
- Familiarity with utilization review and insurance-based treatment environments
- Experience with behavioral health EMR systems
