Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT & LCSW) - WEEKENDS

Qualifications

• Degree in Psychology (Ph.D., Psy.D) and/or Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Candidate must be licensed in California, in the licensing process, or a registered psychologist assistant under BOP
• Minimum 2 years experience residential treatment setting (mental health primary or substance use)
• Minimum 2 years experience in clinical setting

Job Duties

Provides direct client care to include a minimum of 2 groups per weekend day and individual sessions daily with assigned clients as requested Saturday's and Sunday's.

• Responsible to utilize, follow and adhere to clinical documentation timeline protocol
• Actively involve family, outside providers or other collaterals in treatment, pending consent. Must be in communication with relevant parties (parents, spouse etc.) regularly to keep them informed and respond to any questions in a timely fashion
• Ensures progress notes are completed in the EMR the same day as the delivery of service so the electronic chart is always current
• Monitor client attendance. Clients must attend all services
• Address and resolve any behavioral issues with clients immediately (document outcome)
• Ensures appropriate discharge planning is coordinated and documented for Case Manager. Client must be given a copy of DC plan or recommendation along with community resources. Please ensure client has signed the DC acknowledging receipt of DC plan and referrals
• Must be available for crisis management and clinical emergencies
• Ensures delivery of high end clinical hospitality and customer service to each client
• Maintains a positive, warm and therapeutic attitude and disposition

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
