Licensed Counselor, Private Practice - Evenings/Weekends

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Counselor to join our private practice during evening or weekend hours. Wellspring Counseling Services was established in Fort Wayne in 2018 and we're excited to grow our group. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and demonstrate expertise in various therapeutic techniques.

This role involves providing high-quality counseling services, conducting intakes, and developing treatment plans for individuals, couples and families in a private practice setting. The counselor will work collaboratively with clients to promote healing and personal growth while adhering to ethical standards and best practices in the field.

Duties

• Conduct individual, marital, and family counseling sessions using evidence-based practices.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments to identify mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Provide crisis intervention services as needed, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients in distress.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation, including intake assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Utilize telehealth platforms to provide remote counseling services when appropriate.
• Maintain good standing within your professional license (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW) and stay current on Continuing Education Credits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Valid Indiana state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required.
• Knowledge of DSM 5/ICD-10 coding systems for accurate medical documentation is essential.
• Strong skills in crisis management and direct support for individuals facing mental health challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $60.00 - $88.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10.0 per week
