We are seeking a Licensed Therapist (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW) to join our growing Texas clinical team. This position is ideal for a compassionate and dedicated professional who is passionate about helping children, adolescents, adults, and families navigate mental health challenges while promoting resilience, recovery, and long-term wellness.

The ideal candidate will have experience providing direct clinical services, completing comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions in accordance with Texas behavioral health regulations, Medicaid standards, and payer requirements.

This position requires active Texas licensure and credentialing with Texas Medicaid and Superior HealthPlan Medicaid. Candidates must be fully credentialed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy services to children, adolescents, adults, and families through outpatient, community-based, and telehealth platforms.
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, diagnostic evaluations, treatment planning, and ongoing clinical reviews utilizing DSM-5-TR and ICD-10 coding standards.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs, strengths, goals, and evidence-based clinical practices.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions for behavioral health concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, substance use, family conflict, stress-related disorders, and emotional regulation challenges.
  • Deliver crisis intervention, safety planning, and clinical stabilization support when clinically appropriate.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, caregivers, and support systems to strengthen coping skills and improve overall functioning.
  • Coordinate care with psychiatrists, primary care providers, case managers, schools, child welfare agencies, and community partners as needed.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation, including assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, discharge summaries, and authorization documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations, Texas Medicaid requirements, Superior HealthPlan requirements, and agency policies.
  • Utilize secure telehealth platforms to expand access to behavioral health services and support continuity of care throughout Texas.
  • Participate in clinical supervision, peer consultation, case reviews, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities.
  • Support agency growth through professional collaboration, community engagement, and maintaining strong relationships with referral partners.

Qualifications

  • Active Texas license as one of the following:
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Must maintain an active, unrestricted Texas professional license.
  • Must be credentialed with:
  • Texas Medicaid
  • Superior HealthPlan Medicaid
  • Experience providing behavioral health services to diverse populations preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical documentation standards, ethical guidelines, HIPAA requirements, and payer compliance expectations.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and clinical assessment skills.
  • Ability to provide services independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
