We are seeking a Mental Health, Behavioral Health, Substance Abuse Specialist, Counselor/Therapist to join our team of professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing counseling services to patients with addiction and mental health, issues. This position requires a deep understanding of addiction and the criminal justice system. The Counselor will work closely with the treatment team to provide individualized care and treatment plans. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about helping people in need and has the ability to build strong relationships with stake holders.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling services.
• Assess and diagnose mental health and substance Abuse issues.
• Develop treatment plans for clients based on individual needs.
• Provide crisis intervention services as needed.
• Collaborate with other professionals to coordinate services for clients.
• Educate clients and their families about addiction and mental health.
• Monitor client progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
• Ensure all documentation is done in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with federal, state and local regulatory requirements.

Job Types: Contract, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
