Job Overview

We are a growing behavioral health practice dedicated to providing compassionate, supportive care to individuals and families in our community. As we expand, we are excited to bring on our very first clinical therapist to join our team. Duties

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and intake evaluations to determine clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans in an Outpatient setting.
• Developing treatment plan with the care team.
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling services using evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy(ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and Psychodynamic Therapy.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, including crisis intervention and behavioral therapy. Opportunities for group will be available.
• Offer evidence-based interventions for conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and life stressors.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients, including case management and coordination with other healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for diagnoses in compliance with all statutes.
• Engage in ongoing clinical research and data collection to enhance therapeutic practices and contribute to the field of mental health.
• Offer specialized services such as grief counseling, addiction counseling, PTSD care, and support for individuals with developmental disabilities or autism.
• Provide direct support in outpatient settings, ensuring a safe environment for all clients.
• Stay informed about current trends in behavioral health and participate in professional development opportunities.
• Participate in supervision and training activities as needed
• Serve as a clinical supervisor for newer clinicians in the future

Skills

• Proficient in various therapeutic modalities including Child & Family Counseling, Art Therapy, and Applied Behavior Analysis.
• Strong background in crisis management, behavior management, and patient assessment techniques.
• Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, and individuals with disabilities.
• Knowledgeable in medical terminology, medical records management, and clinical documentation standards.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and the ability to provide virtual therapy sessions effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
• Active state license (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT)
• Minimum 2 years of direct clinical experience with children, teens, or adults
• Strong interest in supportive, client-centered therapy
• Registered Play Therapist (preferred, not required)

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
