Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic mental health and behavioral care team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health assessments, evidence-based psychotherapy, and crisis intervention services to diverse client populations. Duties

  • Conduct thorough mental health and behavioral assessments utilizing diagnostic tools such as ICD-10 and ICD-9 coding systems to inform treatment planning.
  • Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing evidence-based approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
  • Provide specialized care for populations with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, PTSD, substance use disorders, Alzheimer’s disease, geriatrics, and special education needs.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical confidentiality policies.
  • Engage in crisis management and crisis intervention to support clients experiencing acute mental health episodes or emergencies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care within hospital settings or community-based environments; participate in case management activities.
  • Maintain accurate medical records using electronic medical record (EMR/EHR) systems; document patient interactions thoroughly following clinical documentation standards.
  • Support research initiatives by collecting data for clinical research projects related to mental health interventions and behavioral health outcomes.

Skills

  • Proven expertise in psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, motivational interviewing, and behavioral therapy techniques.
  • Strong experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and seniors from diverse cultural backgrounds; familiarity with special education and pediatric care settings.
  • Proficiency in EMR systems (Electronic Medical Records) for documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and medical records management.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology related to psychiatric patient care, mental health assessments, psychopharmacology, ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding standards.
  • Ability to perform comprehensive mental health evaluations including diagnostic evaluations for conditions such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities, PTSD, substance use disorders, and dementia-related illnesses like Alzheimer’s disease.
  • Excellent crisis management skills to handle urgent situations effectively; experience providing crisis intervention in hospital or community settings.
  • Familiarity with clinical research practices including data collection and analysis related to behavioral health interventions.
  • Strong case management skills to coordinate care across multiple providers while adhering to clinical social work standards.
  • Exceptional client communication skills; capable of engaging clients from varied backgrounds while maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality standards under HIPAA guidelines.

Pay: $2,000.00 - $2,400.00 per week
