Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Therapist

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Therapist to join our dynamic mental health team. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing clinical documentation standards and medical terminology.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and evidence-based practices.
• Provide individual, group, family, and crisis intervention sessions tailored to clients’ unique needs, including those with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, PTSD, substance use disorders, and Alzheimer’s care.
• Utilize motivational interviewing techniques and applied behavior analysis to foster client engagement and promote positive behavioral change.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations using EMR/EHR systems; ensure timely clinical documentation and data collection for research purposes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including medical social workers, psychiatrists, educators, and community care providers—to coordinate holistic patient care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through clinical research participation, training in medical social work practices, and staying current with ICD coding updates (ICD-10/ICD-9).

Requirements

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent credential in your state or country.
• Proven experience working with children, adolescents, or adults in clinical settings such as hospitals, community health centers, or home care environments.
• Strong knowledge of mental health interventions including crisis management, addiction counseling, psychiatric patient care, and mental health assessments.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for documentation; understanding of clinical confidentiality policies under HIPAA standards.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and those with disabilities or developmental challenges.
• Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), PTSD, substance use disorders, or in geriatrics is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills for client engagement, case management, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
