Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health services to diverse populations. We are seeking an initial level of licensure and provide supervision toward independent licensure. Our practice focuses on complex populations including trauma work with first responders and Veterans, as well as adults with complex needs. Some compensation provided with licensure in other states as well for continuing eduction credits. We also offer monthly team meetings and didactic discussions.

Duties

• Conduct intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans for clients in the adult population.
• Provide psychotherapy using modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and motivational interviewing. We offer consultation on evidence based practices such as Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure therapy, and EMDR.
• Deliver specialized counseling services including addiction counseling, PTSD care, autism spectrum disorder interventions, and working with individuals with disabilities.
• Manage crisis situations through effective crisis intervention and crisis management strategies to ensure client safety
• Document all patient interactions accurately within Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining medical documentation standards
• Collaborate with healthcare providers on medication management in conjunction with psychopharmacology practices when applicable
• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions in clinical settings or community environments while promoting behavioral health initiatives
• Participate in ongoing professional development related to ICD-10/ICD-9/ICD coding systems for accurate diagnosis coding and billing purposes

Experience

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credentialed by the appropriate state licensing board with current licensure required
• Proven experience in psychotherapy techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT)
• Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and data collection is essential
• Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to mental health conditions and social work practices is required
• Understanding of CPT coding procedures for billing purposes along with ICD-10/ICD-9/ICD coding systems for accurate diagnosis classification

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $75.00 per hour
