Licensed Clinical Social Worker/ Licensed clinical Addiction Specialist or associate

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS), or an associate in these fields, to join our multidisciplinary behavioral health team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive mental health and addiction services within a dynamic clinical setting. Duties

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing standardized tools and clinical judgment.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral health interventions.
• Deliver specialized addiction counseling and motivational interviewing techniques to support recovery from substance use disorders.
• Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with client needs, clinical documentation standards, and HIPAA confidentiality policies.
• Engage in crisis management and intervention to ensure patient safety and stabilization during acute episodes.
• Collaborate with medical professionals, community agencies, and families to coordinate comprehensive care plans tailored for diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism.
• Maintain accurate medical records using EMR/EHR systems while adhering to clinical documentation standards and ICD coding protocols for diagnoses such as ICD-10.
• Participate in clinical research initiatives or quality improvement projects aimed at advancing mental health practices and patient care outcomes.

Skills

• Proficiency in psychotherapy techniques including cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and applied behavior analysis.
• Strong experience with mental health assessments, diagnostic evaluation, and case management across diverse populations.
• Expertise in addiction counseling methods such as motivational interviewing and substance use disorder treatment strategies.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, HIPAA regulations, CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding for accurate medical documentation.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals from varied cultural backgrounds while demonstrating cultural competence.
• Excellent communication skills for client engagement, interdisciplinary collaboration, and family counseling.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention protocols and experience managing psychiatric emergencies within hospital or community settings.
• Understanding of medical terminology related to mental health care, psychiatric patient care standards, and behavioral health interventions.

Pay: $34.84 - $41.96 per hour
