Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Approved Clinical Supervisor to join our dynamic mental health team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive mental health and behavioral care to diverse populations across the life span. Your expertise will support individuals facing a range of challenges such as depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, trauma, chronic health conditions, personality disorders, anger issues, difficulties with couples, and more. You will conduct mental health assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions at a state of the art outpatient practice. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients’ lives through innovative therapy techniques and compassionate patient care while receiving allotted time for direct supervision for RCSWIs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing clinical terminology and standardized tools such as ICD-10 coding for accurate diagnosis.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and motivational interviewing tailored to client needs.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions focusing on mental health interventions for conditions such as PTSD, depression, anxiety, addiction, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and developmental disabilities.
  • Engage in crisis intervention and crisis management to ensure immediate safety and stabilization of clients experiencing acute distress or psychiatric emergencies.
  • Maintain meticulous clinical documentation adhering to confidentiality policies such as HIPAA standards while ensuring compliance with medical records management and coding practices including CPT coding.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including medical social workers, psychiatrists, educators, and community care providers to coordinate holistic patient care.
  • Collect data for clinical research initiatives aimed at improving mental health interventions and outcomes; contribute to ongoing quality improvement projects within the organization.
  • Receiving allotted supervisory time for LCSWIs

Experience

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent licensure with active certification in your state or jurisdiction.
  • Proven experience working with children, adolescents, or adults in clinical settings such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, or community health programs.
  • Demonstrated expertise in psychotherapy modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), including familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques.
  • Background in crisis management and crisis intervention strategies for mental health emergencies.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology related to psychiatric patient care and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR systems).
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse cultural backgrounds while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies; experience in home & community care environments is a plus.
