Part-Time LCSW Therapist, Virtual, Virginia Licensed

LifeWork Therapy is hiring a part-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW, to provide virtual outpatient therapy to adults in Virginia.

We are looking for a therapist who values real connection, active clinical work, and helping clients move beyond surface-level coping. Our clients often come to us with anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, codependency, relationship concerns, and difficulty with boundaries. We help them understand what is keeping them stuck, heal from past pain, and build a life that feels more like their own.

This is a strong fit for a clinician who is warm, engaged, trauma-informed, and comfortable being an active part of the therapeutic process.

Position Details

• Part-time W-2 position
• Virtual therapy practice
• Must reside in Virginia and hold an active Virginia LCSW license
• Expected caseload: 12 to 20 clinical hours per week
• Evening and weekend availability strongly preferred
• Pay: $60 per completed clinical hour
• Guaranteed session pay. No waiting on insurance reimbursement or guessing what you will be paid.
• Flexible scheduling within practice needs
• Opportunity for virtual sessions, with possible in-person opportunities based on practice needs

What You Will Do

• Provide individual therapy to adult clients in Virginia
• Support clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, boundaries, self-esteem, and codependency
• Practice from a trauma-focused, clinically engaged lens
• Help clients identify patterns, understand root causes, and build sustainable change
• Maintain timely, ethical, and clinically appropriate documentation
• Participate in team collaboration, consultation, and training as needed
• Use practice technology, including Google Workspace and SimplePractice

What We Are Looking For

• Active, unrestricted LCSW license in Virginia
• Experience providing outpatient psychotherapy to adults
• Experience treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship concerns
• A trauma-focused clinical approach is required
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and professional boundaries
• A warm, direct, engaged therapeutic style
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
• Comfort using Google Workspace. Experience with SimplePractice is a plus.
• Reliable evening and/or weekend availability
