Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in clinical social work, with a focus on providing therapeutic support and counseling to individuals facing various challenges, including addiction, disabilities, and mental health issues. This role requires a commitment to ethical practice and adherence to HIPAA regulations while delivering high-quality care in a hospital or clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on addiction counseling and support for individuals with disabilities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients, including participation in clinical research when applicable.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with HIPAA standards.
• Utilize psychopharmacology knowledge to inform treatment decisions and coordinate care with medical professionals.
• Engage in special education advocacy for clients requiring additional support in educational settings.
• Stay informed about best practices in social work and participate in ongoing professional development.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Experience or training in addiction counseling is preferred.
• Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of coding practices relevant to clinical documentation is a plus.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and ethical standards in social work practice.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients effectively.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth within the field of social work.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $38.00 - $48.00 per hour
