Overview

• In-person
• Locations: Paramount, CA
• Schedule: Temporary Full-Time M-F
• Compensation: $50- $55/hr

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect social work services in accordance with IEPs
• Conduct mental health assessments and crisis interventions (including suicide risk assessments)
• Deliver individual and group support to improve students’ social, emotional, and behavioral functioning
• Partner with teachers, families, and community resources to support student success
• Collaborate with IEP teams and contribute to goal-setting and educational planning
• Serve as liaison to social services, probation, and local agencies
• Support behavioral management strategies and help staff adapt instruction based on student needs
• Travel between school sites as required
• Maintain accurate documentation, including Medical Assistance billing

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work
• Credential Copy (PPS Credential (School Social Work))
• Certification (California State LCSW License )
• Knowledge of social work practices, mental health conditions, behavior theories, and crisis response
• Strong communication and cultural competency skills
• Ability to work with students, staff, and families from diverse backgrounds
• Experience developing IEP goals and participating in interdisciplinary teams
