Alyssa Pepe-Johnson, LCSW PLLC is currently hiring for a direct hire position at their private practice located in Kenmore, NY. We are seeking a dependable LCSW with consistent evening and/or weekend availablity.
Job Summary
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) plays a key role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based mental health services to individuals. While group and family therapy are encouraged, the primary focus is on individual care. This role includes clinical assessments, diagnosis using DSM-5 criteria, and the implementation of therapeutic interventions tailored to client needs. The ideal candidate is clinically sound and ethically grounded.
- Provide individual therapy (group/family optional).
- Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of mental health conditions.
- Create personalized, trauma-informed treatment plans.
- Collaborate with professionals across disciplines.
- Stay sharp through continued education and supervision.
Education & Licensure
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program.
- Current and valid New York State LCSW license in good standing.
- Eligible for Medicare/Medicaid billing; no sanctions or exclusions on record.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficient in conducting therapy, assessments, and managing client care plans independently.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs)
- Commitment to clinical ethics, cultural sensitivity, and evidence-based practice.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a consistent caseload.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in a behavioral health setting.
- Experience working with a diverse clientele and range of mental health issues.
- Previous experience with trauma-informed care, anxiety disorders, and OCD is highly desirable.
