Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic mental health and behavioral care team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health assessments, evidence-based psychotherapy, and crisis intervention services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Your expertise will support individuals with developmental disabilities, substance use disorders, PTSD, autism spectrum disorder, and other behavioral health challenges. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans, ensure clinical documentation compliance, and promote holistic patient well-being. Duties
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing clinical terminology and ICD coding standards such as ICD-10 and ICD-9.
- Deliver evidence-based psychotherapies including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and applied behavior analysis tailored to individual needs.
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions focusing on mental health interventions for conditions such as PTSD, addiction, autism spectrum disorder, and developmental disabilities.
- Implement crisis management strategies and crisis intervention protocols to support patients experiencing acute behavioral health episodes.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards within EMR/EHR systems.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers on patient care plans, medication management including psychopharmacology considerations, and medical social work practices.
- Engage in data collection for clinical research initiatives aimed at improving mental health services and outcomes across diverse populations.
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with current certification to practice independently.
- Proven experience working with children, adolescents, adults, or geriatrics in clinical settings such as hospitals or community clinics.
- Strong knowledge of mental health assessments, diagnostic evaluation tools (ICD coding), and evidence-based practices like CPT coding for billing purposes.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR platforms for documentation of patient care activities while maintaining strict confidentiality policies under HIPAA guidelines.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder is highly desirable.
- Skills in crisis intervention, addiction counseling, trauma-informed care including PTSD-specific approaches, and working with diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients from varied socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds while demonstrating compassion and professionalism.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
