Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) – Outpatient Therapist | North Carolina

Evergreen Community Behavioral Health is hiring Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associates (LCSWA) to provide outpatient therapy services to clients throughout North Carolina.

We are looking for clinicians who are ready to begin credentialing and accepting clients, maintain a consistent caseload, complete documentation on time, and meet Evergreen's weekly utilization expectations.

• Hold an active North Carolina LCSWA license
• Already be enrolled as a Medicaid provider through NCTracks
• Have an active NPI
• Be able to complete the required NCTracks affiliation with Evergreen Community Behavioral Health
• Agree to Evergreen's paid-when-claims-remit compensation structure
• Be able to maintain a minimum 50% weekly utilization rate

POSITION DETAILS

Pay: $45.00–$55.00 per billable clinical hour, based on experience and qualifications

COMPENSATION — PAID WHEN CLAIMS REMIT

Evergreen operates under a paid-when-claims-remit compensation structure for this position.

Clinicians are paid for eligible billable services after Evergreen receives payment from the applicable insurance payer for the submitted claim.

Because insurance processing times vary, the date a service is provided is not necessarily the date the clinician will be paid for that service.

Compensation is $45.00–$55.00 per billable clinical hour, based on experience and qualifications.

50% WEEKLY UTILIZATION REQUIREMENT

Clinicians are required to maintain a minimum 50% weekly utilization rate based on their established clinical availability.

For example:

20 available hours = minimum goal of 10 completed billable hours

30 available hours = minimum goal of 15 completed billable hours

40 available hours = minimum goal of 20 completed billable hours

Clinicians should only establish availability for hours they can consistently work.

We understand that client cancellations and no-shows happen. Clinicians are still expected to actively manage their schedules, communicate attendance issues, assist with appropriate rescheduling and maintain consistent engagement with their assigned clients.

Consistently falling below the minimum utilization expectation may result in a caseload review, reassignment of clients, reduction in assigned clients, or performance management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Clinicians are responsible for:

• Providing outpatient psychotherapy to assigned clients
• Maintaining at least 50% weekly utilization
• Maintaining a consistent schedule for accepted clients
• Completing progress notes and required documentation within agency deadlines
• Developing and maintaining individualized treatment plans
• Providing evidence-based, person-centered therapeutic interventions
• Monitoring client progress
• Updating treatment goals when clinically appropriate
• Communicating client cancellations and no-shows promptly
• Working to appropriately re-engage clients who miss appointments
• Coordinating with other members of the client's treatment team when appropriate
• Maintaining professional boundaries and client confidentiality
• Following Evergreen policies and applicable clinical requirements
• Maintaining all required licenses, credentials and Medicaid provider enrollment

REQUIRED CREDENTIALING

Before accepting clients, clinicians must be able to complete all required Evergreen credentialing and payer requirements.

This includes having:

• Active North Carolina LCSWA license
• Existing NCTracks Medicaid provider enrollment
• Active NPI
• Ability to complete the required NCTracks affiliation with Evergreen
• Any additional payer credentialing or affiliation required for the clinician's assigned clients

NCTracks affiliation with Evergreen must be submitted before the clinician begins providing services that require the affiliation.

CASELOAD & SCHEDULING

Clinicians may establish availability based on the number of clients they are realistically able to serve.

We are seeking clinicians interested in approximately 10–40 hours per week.

Once a clinician establishes their availability and accepts a caseload, Evergreen expects consistent client contact and a minimum 50% weekly utilization rate.

Additional clients may be assigned as the clinician demonstrates capacity and as Evergreen's client population grows.
