Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health, social needs, and behavioral health issues using evidence-based practices.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate crisis management, addiction counseling, and motivational interviewing techniques.
• Provide crisis intervention services during urgent situations, ensuring safety and stabilization for clients experiencing emotional or behavioral crises.
• Offer case management support by resource identification within social services, including Medicaid, Medicare, Section 8 housing programs, and child welfare resources.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans tailored for seniors, geriatric patients, individuals with disabilities, and culturally diverse populations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and service delivery in compliance with confidentiality standards.
• Supervise junior staff or interns when applicable, providing mentorship in social work best practices and client communication skills.

Requirements

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent in the relevant state or jurisdiction.
• Proven experience in social work with a focus on behavioral health, crisis intervention, addiction counseling, or working with seniors and disabled populations.
• Strong knowledge of crisis management protocols and first aid/CPR certification.
• Excellent writing skills for documentation and report writing; ability to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Familiarity with Medicaid, Medicare, Section 8 housing programs, child welfare systems, and workforce development initiatives.
• Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve culturally diverse communities effectively.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in child welfare settings is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cases efficiently while maintaining empathy and professionalism in high-pressure situations.

Pay: $37.10 - $44.68 per hour
