Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic mental health and behavioral care team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health assessments, evidence-based psychotherapy, and crisis intervention services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Your expertise will support individuals with a wide range of mental health conditions, developmental disabilities, substance use disorders, and trauma-related issues. You will work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic treatment plans that promote recovery and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and risk assessments using standardized tools and clinical judgment.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and motivational interviewing.
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions tailored to clients’ unique needs, including children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), individuals with developmental disabilities, PTSD survivors, and those battling substance use disorders.
• Engage in crisis management and intervention for clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies or behavioral crises.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, social services agencies, schools, and community organizations to coordinate care plans and facilitate case management.
• Collect data for clinical research projects aimed at improving mental health interventions and outcomes across diverse populations.

Experience

• Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with current certification in good standing.
• Proven experience providing psychotherapy across various settings such as hospitals, community clinics, or home-based care programs.
• Demonstrated expertise working with children, adolescents, adults, or geriatrics—especially those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities, or Alzheimer’s disease.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for documentation of patient care activities.
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to psychiatric patient care and medical social work practices.
• Experience conducting mental health assessments using ICD-10/ICD-9 coding systems for diagnosis classification.
• Skilled in crisis intervention techniques and managing behavioral health emergencies effectively.
• Background working with diverse cultural backgrounds to deliver culturally sensitive mental health interventions.
• Experience working within hospital environments or specialized settings such as pediatrics or addiction counseling programs is highly desirable.

Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
