CareNow Services, a leading provider of Geriatric behavioral health services, is currently recruiting for Licensed Clinical Social Workers or Licensed Professional Counselors in Metro Atlanta and surrounding region to provide behavioral health services in long-term care facilities. The LCSW/LPC will conduct diagnostic and behavioral health assessments, develop treatment plans, provide on-going psychotherapy, behavior management, crisis management, and nursing facility staff education and training. Position Overview

Provide mental health services to residents in designated nursing homes

Credentials Required

• LCSW in Georgia in good standing

Experience and Education Requirements

• Current LCSW in Good standing with the state of Georgia.
• Minimum of 2 years direct care in counseling/psychiatric nursing; working with the mentally challenged.
• Knowledge of the developmental process, normal and abnormal, from conception through adulthood; knowledge of the principles, techniques, methods, theory of assessment practice in serving residents with mental illness, Intellectual and developmental disability; knowledge of developmental diagnostic issues in mental illness, intellectual disability and developmental disability, treatment and management of Mental health issues of older adults. Effective communication skills, emphasizing diplomacy and assertiveness
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Must be well organized and able to multitask
• Must maintain confidentiality and exhibit a professional demeanor

Pay: $66,000.00 - $74,000.00 per year
