Duties

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-10 coding standards to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and art or dance therapy as appropriate.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage acute mental health emergencies effectively while ensuring client safety.
• Utilize telehealth platforms to provide remote counseling services, maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including social workers, medical professionals, educators, and case managers—to coordinate comprehensive care plans for clients with co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities.
• Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation in electronic health records (EHR/EMR), including treatment notes, progress reports, and medical records following HIPAA guidelines.
• Engage in ongoing research and data collection to inform evidence-based practices and improve service delivery outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or equivalent in the respective state or jurisdiction.
• Proven experience working with children, adolescents, and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
• Strong knowledge of behavioral health interventions including applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and PTSD care.
• Proficiency in ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems for accurate diagnosis documentation and billing purposes.
• Experience delivering telehealth therapy sessions while adhering to clinical ethical guidelines and HIPAA regulations.
• Excellent communication skills for effective client engagement and collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Ability to handle crisis situations with calmness and professionalism; experience in crisis management is highly valued.

Pay: $90.00 - $110.00 per hour
