Position Summary

Wildflower Children's Counseling is seeking a Child & Adolescent Therapist to join our growing team. We welcome applications from clinicians who are independently licensed, temporarily/provisionally licensed, or nearing independent licensure.

The ideal candidate is passionate about working with children and teens, values trauma-informed care, enjoys collaborating with families, and desires flexibility while building a meaningful clinical career.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, ethical therapy services to children, teens, and young adults.
• Complete assessments, treatment plans, clinical documentation, and other required records in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with caregivers and other professionals to support client care.
• Maintain compliance with all licensing board regulations, ethical standards, and HIPAA requirements.
• Participate in supervision or consultation as required by licensure status.
• Maintain a professional, reliable presence while managing your schedule and caseload.
• Contribute to the growth of your caseload by networking with referral sources, participating in community outreach, and representing the practice professionally. (Note: While WCC provides referrals and marketing support, clinicians are expected to actively cultivate referral relationships and promote their individual services).

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
• Fully licensed, provisionally/temporarily licensed, or actively working toward independent licensure.
• Eligible to practice independently or under approved clinical supervision in the state.
• Knowledge of child development and trauma-informed care.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team.

• Play Therapy or Child-Centered Play Therapy
• Synergetic Play Therapy
• Sand Tray Therapy
• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Trauma-Focused CBT
• EMDR (or EMDR training)
• Parent coaching
• Family therapy
• ADHD, anxiety, behavioral concerns, trauma, grief, or neurodiversity
