Part-Time Contract Therapist – Outpatient Setting (Danbury)

An established outpatient practice in Danbury is seeking a Licensed or Associate Mental Health Therapist for a part-time contract position.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, couple, and family therapy both in-person and via telehealth
• Conduct thorough intake assessments and develop clear, goal-oriented treatment plans
• Manage and maintain an active caseload with timely documentation and progress notes
• Collaborate with clinical supervisors and multidisciplinary providers to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
• Support clients with behavioral issues, anger management, parenting skills, and emotional regulation
• Participate in case consultations, supervision, and team meetings as needed
• Maintain compliance with ethical and professional standards
• Stay informed on best practices and evidence-based interventions through continuing education

Qualifications

• Licensed or Associate Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or equivalent)
• Experience in behavioral issues, anger management, and family systems preferred
• Strong clinical documentation and communication skills
• Bilingual in Portuguese or Spanish preferred
• Comfortable providing telehealth services when appropriate
