Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic services to individuals facing various mental health challenges. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering psychotherapy in a supportive environment. The Mental Health Therapist will work collaboratively with clients to promote their mental well-being and facilitate personal growth.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client goals.
• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy, including but not limited to grief counseling, addiction counseling, and crisis management.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with ICD-10 and ICD-9 standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate case management and ensure holistic care for clients.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health therapy.

Experience

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
• Valid intern or full licensure as a Mental Health Therapist or equivalent credentials is preferred.
• Experience in psychotherapy and familiarity with psychopharmacology is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in case management and crisis intervention techniques is essential.
• Previous experience working with diverse populations and addressing various mental health issues will be beneficial.
• Strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with clients are crucial for success in this role.
