Position Overview

We’re looking for a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) who is passionate about supporting individuals in recovery. In this role, you’ll work closely with clients in both IOP and outpatient settings, providing group and individual counseling while being part of a small, supportive clinical team.

This is a hands-on, relationship-centered role where your voice, ideas, and clinical judgment truly matter.

What You’ll Do

• Lead group counseling sessions in our IOP program
• Provide individual counseling tailored to each client’s recovery goals
• Complete intakes, assessments, and treatment planning
• Support clients through relapse prevention and life skills development
• Collaborate closely with a small team of clinicians and support staff
• Maintain clear and timely documentation
• Help connect clients with community resources and aftercare supports

What We’re Looking For

• Active LADC license in Connecticut (required)
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field
• Experience working in substance use treatment (IOP experience is a plus)
• Comfort leading group therapy
• A compassionate, nonjudgmental, and client-centered approach
• Strong communication and organizational skills
