CBT-Certified Practice Hiring Full Time Lead Consultation Clinician | Clinical Supervisor Track (LCSW)

An expanding CBT-focused private practice in Midtown Manhattan is seeking an independently licensed clinician to join our leadership team in a full-time role with an initial emphasis on clinical intake and access to care, and an expected pathway to Clinical Supervisor.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced clinician interested in developing into a broader leadership role within a modern group practice grounded in fidelity to CBT and evidence-based care. While Cognitive Behavioral Therapy serves as the foundation of our clinical model, we continue to thoughtfully expand our services in areas where strong empirical support exists, including models of group therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, and other evidence-based interventions. Clinicians with specialized expertise in these areas are encouraged to apply.

The Clinical Lead will initially oversee key aspects of the practice's intake process, helping ensure that prospective clients are appropriately assessed, matched with clinicians, and connected to care. This role requires strong clinical judgment, diagnostic skills, and an ability to identify treatment needs and appropriate levels of care.

As the clinician becomes established in the practice and demonstrates proficiency in our clinical model and leadership expectations, the role is expected to expand into clinical supervision, staff development, quality assurance, and training.

Our practice is committed to clinical excellence, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based assessment, fidelity to CBT, and the thoughtful integration of empirically supported treatments that best meet the needs of the individuals, couples, families, and groups we serve.

Responsibilities include

• Maintaining a reasonable caseload of clients
• Providing clinical leadership to the intake and client-matching process
• Assessing clinical needs, treatment fit, and appropriate level of care
• Facilitating thoughtful matching of clients with appropriate clinicians
• Collaborating as part of the leadership team on referrals, transfers, and clinical concerns
• Helping maintain efficient access to high-quality care
• Progressively assuming clinical supervision responsibilities
• Supporting staff development and fidelity to CBT
• Participating in clinical quality assurance and practice leadership

Qualifications

• Independently licensed in New York State
• At least 4 years of outpatient mental health experience
• Skilled in assessment, diagnosis, and case conceptualization
• Proficient in suicide risk/safety assessment and treatment planning
• Training in CBT, ERP, or another cognitive or behavioral modality
• Strong clinical judgment and interpersonal skills
• Prior supervision or leadership experience preferred
• Interest in developing clinicians and growing into a Clinical Supervisor role
• Certified in an evidence-based modality or eagerness to pursue certification

Compensation

• Pay range: $90,00 - $115,000 per year

Schedule

• 8-hour shift
• 5 days per week
• Some evenings to accommodate client needs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
